Neoga Blacksmith's second full-length release, "Some Pig", provides a drunken walking tour of the middle-American landscape. Blending styles of country, folk, grunge, rockabilly, and alternative, among others, provides a unique sonic backdrop for lyrics that highlight being young, getting old, crop dusting acid trippers, broken down tractors, and everything in between. Positioned somewhere in a time and place just out of reach, "Some Pig" sounds like surfing the radio dial back when radio mattered.
